I have training and expertise in dealing with issues that may be of concern to you – clinical depression, recovery from substance abuse, parenting, and GLBT issues, for example – and I use techniques that have been shown to be effective, such as cognitive behavioral therapy for depression, meditative techniques for stress relief, and sandplay therapy. And yet I believe that the most important aspect of therapy is the quality of the personal relationship between the client and the therapist.
