I am a licensed clinical social worker providing outpatient counseling services to individuals (adults and older teens) in the southwest Orlando area, near MetroWest, Universal Studios, and Dr. Phillips areas. My wish is to offer my skills and compassionate presence to individuals who are committed to working through some form of emotional, social or spiritual distress. My areas of expertise are with: adjustment to life changes; anxiety; coping with medical issues; depression; divorce recovery; end-of-life issues; grief and loss; identity struggles; self-esteem; trauma recovery. I do not accept insurance assignment but can complete claim forms for clients to submit to their insurance company for reimbursement if there are out-of-network benefits. I offer discounted rates of $100 for the initial assessment session of 1.25 hours and $80 for regular one-hour sessions. My counseling approach typically deals with what is going on inside people that affects how they are managing, shaping, or coping with what is going on in their outside world. I am a client-centered, psychodynamic, experientially-focused counselor. I am committed to providing a place of respect and safety for clients to do their exploring and revealing. I recognize the preciousness of what is being shared, even when my clients may not see the value.
