Sisters' Place at URBAN ART RETREAT offers an affordable stay while visiting Chicago. This 2nd floor apartment is totally furnished with 3 bedrooms, livingroom, kitchen, bathroom, and deck. There is internet & WIFI access, laundry facility, television and small library for women. The entire place is filled with color and plenty of art on display. Even linens, soaps, lotions, etc are supplied.
Women come from all around the world to stay here and experience Chicago. Many business women and fun loving women come to Sisters' Place for the price and for the comfort to be who they are. It is also a unique and unusual place which women enjoy.
We are conveniently located on the PINK line which goes right downtown. If you drive here, there is parking right in front of the building which is located in a residential neighborhood.
Women who wish to stay can do so for $45.00 per woman per night, $55.00 per 2 women, and $450.00 per month. Each woman rents a room and has access to the entire apartment and all the amenities. Women pay for their room in advance, set up an arrival time, and receive keys so they can come and go as they like during their stay. There is an on site manager who can help women find their way around town.
On the first floor there is an art gallery and office. On the basement level there is an art studio. It is similar to a hotel, similar to a B&B, but nothing like you have experienced before. Sisters' Place has been operating since 1984 with many wonderful women coming and going. Meals served are extra or make your own meals in a totally equipped kitchen. You can reserve an herbal bath drawn even with rose petals if you like, with tea and muffins or biscuits, candlelight, and privacy to soak by signing up ahead of time.

To pay for a room, women send a check or money order payable to URBAN ART RETREAT for the length of stay to 1957 S. Spaulding Ave. Chicago, Illinois 60623. Once the payment is received the room is confirmed as booked. Women include their name, phone number, date & time of arrival in with their check for confirmation.
