Casually elegant B&B overlooking one of Maine's most scenic and photographed lobstering harbors. Only a few miles from the Schoodic Point section of Acadia National Park and about 45 minutes from the main part of Acadia on Mt. Desert Island. Located in a small fishing village, truly a place to unwind,escape the hassles of the world and avoid the tourist crowds. Definitely off the beaten path.
A wonderful place to paint, hike, kayak, read, pick blueberries in season, photograph, or just search for a soaring bald eagle flying overhead.

Only 4 rooms and 2 cottages, yet over 10 acres to explore outdoors or curl up in a corner in one of our large parlors to read or chat.

We offer fairly heart healthy breakfasts in the morning with early coffee or tea to get your day started.
