Allen Suite

This is a spacious suite that is easy to relax in. It features a king-size bed that if you choose, can be made up as twins. The main part of the room has a double bed sized convertible sofa and a cozy gas fired "wood stove". The private ensuite bathroom has a wide single person size Jacuzzi tub with a shower over it.

Stetson Suite

Stetson Suite: The Suite features a queen-size bed, hand-painted walls, and a sunny sitting room. In the sitting room there's a futon couch, cable TV/VCR and a gas-fired "wood stove". The private ensuite bathroom has a two person steam shower as well as a Jacuzzi tub - perfect for unwinding after a busy day skiing, hiking, cycling, shopping...

Wildflower Room

Wildflower Room: A romantic retreat featuring a queen-size bed with down pillows and comforter. The walls are sponge painted and have a decorative border of wildflowers. The ceiling beams are the original hand hewn roof rafters of the home. The windows facing south and east make this a really bright room in the morning, and it is one of the best rooms to admire our gardens from during all seasons of the year. The Wildflower Room's private ensuite bathroom has a large Jacuzzi tub with a shower over it in a cozy alcove.

Mountain Room

Mountain Room: With its pine floors, hand-sewn quilts, and gas-fired "wood stove" this is one of the warmest, coziest spots in all of New England! Up one flight of stairs, the room features a king-size or, if you choose, a pair of extra long twin beds, a futon couch and a ceiling fan. The private ensuite bathroom has a double Jacuzzi tub and corner shower. The Mountain Room has a skiing theme with posters and pictures of ski hills, including some reflections of Canada where Peter & Susan lived for many years.

Garden Room

Garden Room: It has its own entrance by a lovely small garden, near the side parking area. It is a very private L shaped room with four south facing windows, it features a gas fired "wood stove" on a brick hearth. There are chairs to curl up in and an extremely comfortable king-size bed that can also be split into twin beds. The private ensuite bathroom has a tile and glass steambath/shower that's big enough for two and a nice, deep tub - great for soaking.

Bluebonnet Room

Bluebonnet Room: This room features a painting of Texas bluebonnets as well as mementos of the Lone Star State where Peter & Susan lived for a number of years. It has a queen-size bed with down pillows and comforter. There is a hand-sewn quilt on the bed and a hand-painted floral spray on the walls. The room has wide board pine floors and a fireplace with a cabinet above for its cable TV/VCR. The ensuite full bath has a tub/shower/steambath combo.

Highland Room

Highland Room: Up its own private spiral stairway this room features a Scottish theme reflecting Peter's homeland. It has a queen-size bed bedecked with tartan, a futon couch and a gas fired "wood stove". Old barn-board walls and exposed hand hewn rafters give the room the feeling of a quaint highland cottage, and the bagpipes on the wall leave no doubt of the room's credentials! The Highland Room private ensuite bathroom features a gleaming brass sink and a Jacuzzi tub with a shower over it.

Paris Suite

Paris Suite: Located up the spiral staircase from the Living Room, this 4 room suite is a quiet, cozy spot where you can relax and unwind. The decoration of the Honeymoon in Paris Suite was inspired from Peter & Susan's 3 year stay near Versailles in France. Louis XIV, along with his wife Marie Antoinette, was responsible for the great expansion of Palace of Versailles. The four poster queen-size canopy bed with Tempur-Pedic memory foam mattress, down pillows and comforter is somewhat in the style of the Louis XIV epoch, although much more comfortable! The pictures and décor are memorabilia of the Paris area. The bedroom also features a gas fireplace - just flip a switch and it's instant romance! The large private bathroom has a glass corner shower and pedestal sink. The Suite's "spa room" has a two-person Jacuzzi tub, small gas fireplace and a window. The Study, which completes the Suite's layout, has a daybed, desk, and closet. It also provides access to the suite's private deck and adjacent parking area.

The Library

The Library: One of the three common rooms for guest use, the Library features a beautiful pool table, a cozy couch near the fireplace, and hundreds of books of an eclectic range of genres and authors. There are also a variety of board games and jigsaw puzzles. More games and books are located throughout the Inn.

The Gardens

The Gardens: One photo cannot do the extensive gardens and ornamental ponds justice, so visit our website and have a look at our photo gallery for more photos of the grounds at West Hill House.
