Bentley's: Coffee, People, Food, Music, Art...

Bentley's coffees are genuine and certified 100% Fair Trade Organic!
Founded in 1984 by Joanne Schneider and Willow Bentley, Bentley's has been a part of the university community for almost 25 years. Since that time, we have shifted and grown without ever forgetting where we are and why. Joanne's commitment is to our customers. She has strived to create a space where students can study, grab a bite and burn the midnight oil.

Locally owned and operated, we work to be flexible and adaptable to our customer's needs, while maintaining the integrity of our fresh and fast menu, quality coffee & teas, free wireless Internet and, of course, friendly service. We offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night dining options, as well as a large selection of caffineated and decaf beverages.

Ocotillo Poetry Slam

Hey y'all, Did you have a good summer? Plenty of relaxing indoors with the air conditioner
all the way up? To those of you who fled Tucson to spend your vacation in
cooler climes, welcome back, you sissies!

A new slam season is about to kick off:

Saturday, August 30, 2008
Bentley's House of Coffee and Tea
1730 E Speedway, Tucson

6:30 Sign up
7:00 Featured poet DANE KUTTLER
8:00 The Coronation Slam

All ages
Suggested donation $5

Dane Kuttler is a regular at the Hampshire Slam Collective, and represented them
at the first-ever Women of the World Poetry Slam in Detroit, MI. Her poetry has
a lyrical, narrative style that explores themes of Jewish and queer identities,
with a lot of love poems to her grandparents. She is currently on the road,
looking for a new home. She has featured in coffee shops, living rooms, back
porches and the occasional auditorium, but her favorite venue has always been
her first - a dilapidated tree house with sixteen stuffed animals for an
audience.

Bring your friends. Bring your loved ones. Bring your "How I Spent My Summer
Vacation" essays.

See you there!
