Mission Statement
The LGBT of Greater New Orleans promotes the vitality and well-being of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community through:
- Continuous support of health, culture, and social needs.
- Advocacy for our community.
- Provision of information, resources and referrals.
- Advancement of diversity, understanding, and acceptance
We are an all volunteer 501(c)3 organization. Your donations of any size are tax deductible and will help us to continue to serve the visitors to and residents of the Greater New Orleans area.

Meeting space
Organizations which meet at the Center include: NO Alliance of Pride, The Gay Men's Chorus, End Partner Abuse Now (EPAN), Gulf Gender Alliance (GGA), Children of Lesbians and Gays Everywhere (COLAGE) and The Community Coalition (TCC).
Please call the center if you are interested in having meetings in our space.
Support Groups
We sponsor several support groups including the Tuesday Night Transgender Support Group, the Youth Group, and the Coming Out Group.

Reel Identities
The Fifth Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Film Festival will be held November 14-16, 2008 at the Contemporary Arts Center in the Warehouse District.
